JT Edgren
President, State-Licensed Home Inspector – HI283
JT has been performing residential home inspections and commercial building inspections in the Orlando area since 1999. He has completed thousands of independent property inspections and is currently licensed in many different categories of inspections. JT is the President of Central Florida Building Inspectors and also owns and operates Elite Mold Services. He is also currently State-Licensed for Home Inspections, a Certified Home Inspector, Certified and State-Licensed for Mold Inspections and Assessments, a State-Licensed Radon Technician, a State-Licensed WDO (Termite) Inspector, as well as a Certified Pest Control Operator licensed in Termite Control.
Andrew Snook
Inspector Manager, State-Licensed Home Inspector – HI13691
Andrew is a proud US Coast Guard Veteran with 20 years of service. With a background in home renovations and healthcare administration, he decided to pursue his passion for home inspections. He relocated to Central Florida in 2020 and knows the lay of the land very well. Andrew is a State-Licensed Home Inspector with over 1,000 hours of education and certifications through InterNACHI (International Association of Certified Home Inspectors) and CCPIA (Certified Commercial Property Inspector Association). He is certified to perform residential and commercial inspections, wind mitigations, WDO inspections, air quality testing, is sewer cam qualified, a licensed drone pilot and much more. He is also a Certified Master Inspector (CMI) through InterNACHI and a member of CCPIA.
Anthony Castaneda
Team Lead, State-Licensed Home Inspector – HI12369
Anthony, a Florida native, is uniquely familiar with the climate and the toll it can take on homes and buildings in this region. He grew up in South Florida and has been serving the Central Florida area, where he calls home, since 2006. Anthony is a State-licensed Home Inspector and certified to perform home inspections, wind mitigations, pool and spa inspections, is sewer cam qualified and much more. He is a proud member and Certified Master Inspector (CMI) with InterNACHI (International Association of Certified Home Inspectors) with over 230 hours of education and certification courses related to home and building issues. He is also fluent in English and Spanish.
Bryon Borchardt
Team Lead, State-Licensed Home Inspector – HI11070
Bryon was raised working in residential construction with his father’s business. When he entered the corporate world of retail and later the healthcare industry, he continued to assist his brothers in construction in his off time. During his experience in retail and healthcare, he would inspect potential commercial buildings and units for expansion as well as collaborate with architects and contractors to complete remodeling/expansion of commercial buildings. Bryon is a State-Licensed Home Inspector, WDO (Termite) Inspector, Radon Technician, Certified Master Inspector (CMI), and Certified Commercial Building Inspector. He is certified to perform home inspections, wind mitigations, WDO inspections, pool and spa inspections, is sewer cam qualified and much more. He is a proud member of InterNACHI (International Association of Certified Home Inspectors), FABI (Florida Association of Building Inspectors), and the Commercial Building Inspectors Association.
John Behm
Team Lead, State-Licensed Home Inspector – HI11443
John was involved in the construction management and development industry for over 13 years in Omaha, Nebraska before moving to Florida in 2014, when he joined CFBI. He is a State-Licensed Home Inspector, State-Licensed WDO (termite) inspector, and a Certified Master Inspector (CMI) in good standing with InterNACHI (International Association of Certified Home Inspectors). John is certified to perform most types of inspections, including, but not limited to, home inspections, wind mitigations, commercial building inspections, WDO inspections, roof inspections, DBPR 7020 balcony and railing certifications, and pool and spa inspections. He is a proud member of InterNACHI, Florida Association of Building Inspectors, and CCPIA (Certified Commercial Property Inspectors Association). John is also a Code Certified Master Inspector and Certified Sewer Scope Inspector with InterNACHI as well. And last but not least, he is also a State-Licensed Radon Technician, as well as a Radon Measurement Professional certified through NRPP (National Radon Proficiency Program).
James Pence
State-Licensed Home Inspector – HI8099
James was in the general construction industry for over 18 years in Indianapolis, Indiana, before moving to Florida in late 2013 and joining our team. He is a State-Licensed Home Inspector, Mold Assessor, and Termite Inspector. James is certified to perform various types of inspections, including residential, commercial, mold, radon, wind mitigation, well-water quality testing, and pool/spas, as well as being sewer cam qualified. Additionally, James is a Certified Master Inspector (CMI) with InterNACHI (International Association of Certified Home Inspectors) and a proud member of the Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA).
Jason Dorman
State-Licensed Home Inspector – HI11804
Jason is a seasoned member of the CFBI team and is a State-Licensed Home Inspector and Radon Technician. He is certified to perform home inspections, wind mitigations, WDO inspections, air quality testing, is sewer cam qualified, a licensed drone pilot and much more. Jason is a proud member and Certified Master Inspector (CMI) with InterNACHI (International Association of Certified Home Inspectors) and has completed over 270 hours of education and certification courses related to home, buildings and issues relating to them.
Carl Monn
State-Licensed Home Inspector – HI13105
Carl worked as a carpenter, foreman, and superintendent in the construction industry for over 20 years before moving to Florida with his family in July 2020, when he joined CFBI. He is a Certified Master Inspector (CMI) with InterNACHI (International Association of Certified Home Inspectors), and is licensed to perform home and commercial inspections. He is sewer cam qualified and is certified to perform wind mitigation, 4pt insurance, advanced pool and spa inspections with leak detection, roof, mold and WDO (termite) inspections.
Eric Geter

Eric is a former healthcare administration worker that decided to pursue his passion for home inspection. He has lived in Central Florida since 2002 and knows the region very well. He is a proud member and Certified Professional Inspector (CPI) with InterNACHI (International Association of Certified Home Inspectors) with over 250 hours of education and certifications. Eric is a State-Licensed Home Inspector and is certified to perform home inspections, wind mitigations, WDO inspections, air quality testing, is sewer cam qualified, a licensed drone pilot and much more.
Sean McKim

Sean is a former life safety inspector for the University of Central Florida. He had the desire to help people during the stressful period of purchasing a home, which is why he became a home inspector and has enjoyed the freedom it provides. Sean has lived in Florida most of his life and loves it. He is a proud member and Certified Professional Inspector (CPI) with InterNACHI (International Association of Certified Home Inspectors) and has more than 200 hours of education and certifications. Leo Sapundzhiev

Leo moved to the United States from Europe in 2012 and Central Florida has been his home ever since. After working in the electrical field, he decided to pursue his passion for helping people make the right choice when purchasing their dream home and became a home inspector. Noah Wetzel

Noah, a US Army veteran, served as an Infantryman for eight years, during which he deployed as part of Operation Enduring Freedom. He still currently serves in the Army Reserves. He is a State-Licensed Home Inspector and is certified to perform home inspections, wind mitigations, WDO inspections, air quality testing, is sewer cam qualified, a licensed drone pilot and much more. Luzmarina Larez De Challouf

Luzmarina, a Civil Engineer with 20 years of experience from Venezuela, has a remarkable background. She began her career as an Engineer and quickly rose through the ranks, showcasing her expertise in various projects. She is a proud member and Certified Professional Inspector (CPI) with InterNACHI (International Association of Certified Home Inspectors), a State-Licensed Home Inspector, a licensed WDO (termite) inspector, and an IAC2 Certified indoor air consultant. Luz is certified to perform home inspections, wind mitigations, WDO inspections, air quality testing, is sewer cam qualified, a licensed drone pilot and much more. She is known for her meticulous attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality reports. She is also fluent in English and Spanish.
Hector Miranda

Hector inherited his passion for real estate from his grandparents and was a realtor in Ecuador, where he was born and raised. He moved to Tampa with his family in 2017, where he decided to get back into real estate, this time as a home inspector. Hector is a State-Licensed Home Inspector, Mold Assessor, and Termite Inspector. He is certified to perform wind mitigations, well water testing, air quality testing, sewer camera inspections, and is a licensed drone pilot. Hector is also a proud member and Certified Professional Inspector (CPI) with InterNACHI (International Association of Certified Home Inspectors) with over 318 hours of education and certifications.
Javier Millones

Javier moved to Central Florida in 2016 from Lima, Peru. He has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and worked in cabinetry and pest control prior to becoming a home inspector. He is a proud member and Certified Professional Inspector (CPI) with InterNACHI (International Association of Certified Home Inspectors) with over 235 hours of education and certifications. He is a State-Licensed Home Inspector and is certified to perform home inspections, wind mitigations, WDO (Termite), Mold, Sewer Scope, Pool and Spa and much more. He also speaks English, Spanish, Portuguese, and a little Italian.
Austin Lopez

Austin is a former construction manager who still holds an active HVAC contractors license. For the last 8 years he ran a company that specialized in electric, plumbing, and HVAC. He discovered the home inspection industry by working with a few home inspectors after going behind them to fix issues that they discovered. This made him realize that he could use his construction knowledge to help home buyers feel confident in what they are buying. He is a proud member of InterNACHI with over 370 hours of education and certifications. He is a State Licensed Home Inspector and is certified to perform home inspections, wind mitigations, pool and spa inspections, WDO inspections, sewer scope inspections, and much more.
Hamza Akileh
Hamza, born and raised in Florida, has been immersed in the construction and mortgage industries since 2009. In 2014, he became a licensed home inspector and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction from Seminole State College. His expertise spans a wide range of inspection services, including home and commercial inspections, wind mitigation, 4-point inspections, well water quality testing, WDO (termite) inspections, air quality testing, sewer scope inspections, pool and spa inspections, and more.
